The message is that RINO's and DINO's had better be looking over their shoulder.

The message is that conservativism has been dragged through the mud by both parties since 2000, and conservatives have finally stumbled out of their slumber and intend to exact retribution.

The message is that Democrats are facing the Perfect Storm of Anti-Incumbancy, Anti-Liberalism, and Anti-Big Government.

It's a terrible time to be a liberal. It's a terrible time to be Barack Obama.

This was a GOP primary, how is this a message to Democrats? Griffith was a Republican and he was no liberal.

Fail, big time fail. Try again

You people think that the loss of a Republican in the Republican primary is somehow a vote against Democrats?

Keep dreaming.

We do seem to be seeing that people are not necessarily kind to party switchers, with the losses of both Griffith and Specter.

It's never a bad time to be a liberal, but you conservatives are doing all you can to make it a bad time to be an American.

Oh my goodness. Surely you can see past one headline, right? Surely you understand that the trend is clearly towards conservatism, right? Surely you recall the MA/VA/NJ upsets, right?

How does the loss of a conservatve Republican in a GOP primary suggest that the Democrats are in trouble? How does a conservative Dixiecrat leaving the Democrat party prove that there is a shift towards conservatism? Once again for the 4th time, Griffith was a Conservative, and a Republican. How is this a victory for conservatism. You obviously have not done any research on him. Not surprised.

Wow. With people like you doing the strategizing, no wonder the Democratic Party is in trouble. You just stay focused on this one race to make your heart happy and content. Ignorance is truly bliss.

Meanwhile, the rug is being pulled right from under you. Keep it up though. Us conservatives LOVE apathy from the Left. It's our Ace In The Hole every single time.

No need to delete it. It's perfectly relevant. I pointed out to you that the trend is clearly towards a tighter, more focused brand of conservatism. Which is why Parker was booted out. The Tea Party has no interest in anyone who would even associate with Democrats, no matter where they are. As I said in the OP, once conservatives get their candidates in place, the overall trend toward conservatism will ensure that those Tea Party-backed candidates will rout Democrats in the mid-terms.

Parker Griffith was a casualty of the anti-incumbent, anti-liberal sentiment that is sweeping the nation. What's so hard to understand about this?
