You know how I feel, I don't think it is going to make much difference this time around, but 5 months is not tomorrow. A lot could happen between now and then.

Agreed, I doubt it will make much of a difference. Remember during the Democratic Presidential Primaries in 08 Rush Limbaugh tried to get his listeners in open Primary states to vote for Clinton in the Democratic Primaries because he thought the GOP has a better chance of defeating her than Obama and we all saw had well that worked out for Rush.

There is no campaign from the right to try and get Halter a win. None.

Why should the right interfere when the Left is doing all the work to turn this seat red?

The unions and outside leftist groups have poured mucho bucks into Halter's campaign and have excited the liberals in that state.

I thank them.
What liberals? It's still Arkansas. Cautious about change you might say.

Interesting you would bring that up: many years ago like over 40, we changed our party to Democrat to vote for none other than Sam Yorty in the primary and why? because we couldn't vote for Brown in the general election even though hubby did prior to that time and we were not about to support a Hollywood actor. Many of our Democrat friends including the principal at my kids school (he was a friend) said we were doing it because Yorty would be easier to beat. That really wasn't the reason. Of course we all know what happened after that. The good ole actor did win in Nov (Yorty didn't do well) and that good ole Governor became one of the most popular govenors ever to servce in Ca. I am not saying the best, because that is for another time and thread, but he certainly was popular. yes, of course we supported him.

and my point simply was she isn't a conservative in any way, means of form. In fact she is considered by many in this state (which you know nothing about) to be pretty liberal. No, not as liberal as Halter even though he pushed for the state lottery, but certainly not as right as many of our elected rep whether they have a D or an R next to their name.
