This has to be one of the most fun topics I've ever run across! I want to put my answers out there before I read everyone else's choices (so I don't get too swayed)!

I am soooo about to get laughed at, I just know it. But, I don't care!

TV Characters

1. Charles and Caroline Ingalls from Little House on the Prairie. I love everything about them.

2. The entire family from The Waltons. I loved that family.

3. Tess, Monica, Andrew and Gloria from Touched By An Angel. I love the honesty, clarity, truth, comfort, and assurance they brought to people.

Honorable Mention: Dean Cain's Clark Kent from Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman. Mostly because I think the guy could use a good friend. But, also because, well, he is Superman after all!

Movie Characters

1. Frances Mayes from the movie Under the Tuscan Sun. I relate to her (except for the divorce) big time.

2. Joshua from the movie Joshua. (Played by Tony Goldwyn.) Watch it and find out why.

3. Willy Wonka (the original, not the freaky Johnny Depp one!) just for the inspiration of pure imagination!

Have you read the book(s)? I was mesmerized by it. It's a thousand times better than the film. I'm not a celebrity hound and aren't easily impressed by "famous" people, but, I got the chance to meet the author, Joseph Girzone, at a local book signing. I got to spend a good amount of time with him, which was a dream come true. I really, really wanted to let him know how much that book meant to me. He's not "famous" but, at that time, I wanted to meet him more than anyone else. And to think, I just stumbled into the book signing and at a time when it was just the two of us. I would love to be just like Joshua.
