I'm surprised there isn't any kind of theatre forum here. I think I'm getting a big second wind in my love of musical theatre, which has been dormant for 10 years or so now. But I'm not seeing anywhere on this website to discuss it, which is surprising, considering how popular the books, music, and movies forums are.

I'm not demanding a new forum, I'm just wondering where the best place to discuss this would be. Or even if there's a good forum outside City Data that I should check out.

Well, I've found the website musicals.net which has extensive musical theatre forums. Still, the tone there can be a little too juvenile compared to the typically mature discussions here on City Data.

I do think that a Theater forum (musical or no) has a place on CD. We have a forum for every other fine art medium, after all.

Theatre is in fine arts, I think.

Where the conversation is mostly dominated by discussion about visual arts. Perhaps we can have a "theatre and dance" section at least?

This is however a question for About the forum.

Fine Arts is the best place. There are not enough threads present to make a new forum.
