Not exactly "Sherlock Holmes and Watson" but check out Charles Edwards in "Murder Rooms" with the late Ian Richardson (House of Cards/To Play The King).

Lucy Lui is always angry, no depth, no growth, no personality but anger. They have absolutely no connection or relationship, just awkward. I don't get it why it's so popular. Must be die hard Lucy Lui fans that would watch her in any show.
