Hey, I watched one on how to unstop a clogged up bathroom drain! Saved me an $80.00 trip from a plumber. An exciting life we live, huh?

Last Youtube video I watched was a boring campaign interview, so I'll share one of the last videos I watched. I'm taking a free course on EDX's website called Making Sense of News, and this was one of the videos they had us watch. Makes me think of some of the posters I've come across in the Elections forum and a couple of others.

But we can certainly do something exciting with the money saved Our pool cleaner broke last summer and I called the local shop to inquire about having it repaired. When I told them it was about 8 years old, they told me it would make more sense to just buy a new one that would cost about $900, rather than spend at least $500 for them to fix mine. (Yes, obviously trying to upsell me) I told them that I'd bring it in and have them take a look at it and make the decision.

Instead, I went on youtube and figured out what was wrong with mine. Found the perfect video that showed me how to replace the parts I needed to. Bought them on amazon for about $40 total, and two days later I tackled my project. I'm not gonna lie and say it was easy - I spent a good hour plus making the repairs, but my efforts paid off and I saved myself at least $500. Now that I've done it once, I won't be afraid to take it apart again if I need to.
