in order to maintain high quality vocals while dancing at the same time? Then you have to factor in fatigue as the song goes along. You can never completely eliminate some lip sync as most artists use some of that to a certain extent, but others either lower the back tracks to make their actual vocals stand out. Michael Jackson is one of the best live performers when it comes to dancing and singing simultaneously.
There is a special secret technique pop performers use to dance wildly and sing at the same time.
It is called "lip-synching."
lol...yes, i'm aware of that. Most do that though some do it less like Michael Jackson and other groups, singers will turn down the back track audio somewhat so viewers/audience can hear their live vocals more. Michael was the best that i've seen. I found this one group that does it quite a bit. Not bad. I heard their manager, during dance practice, will make them pick up coins on the floor while singing so they can learn to minimize bumps in their voices during real performances. Any others out there?
As MJ has been dead for a few years.....shouldn't that be in the past tense ?
