When you have an agent or producer telling the actress to work with Weinstein, they are telling them to sell their bodies and dignities in exchange. That's become the old trade around hollywood for women and that has to change and the enablers around are working with the likes of Weinsteins.
I think all of the enablers should be held accountable too. Any agent, actor, director, or producer tells you that if you don't play along you'll lose the chance for another gig you are enabling this kind of behavior.
So going after Weinstein alone is not going to change the industry. There will be other Weinsteins around. I'm sure JLaw isn't saying anything bad about Harvey because she benefited tremendously from all the opportunities coming her way for being such a mediocre actress.
Who cares! These men got the ass and are filthy rich. Look how many women do the same thing to land a rich husband, yet alone a career, but that is none of my business.
The NYPD says it's close to arresting him. But the Manhattan district attorney is calling the shots, and while he hasn't said it, he doesn't seem to like the case. This will tell the tale.
If he gets convicted of sexual assault / rape, he's done. Besides the stigma, he'll be in jail for a while, and by the time he gets out, he'd be too old to make a comeback.
But if no one makes a criminal case, he'll try to make a comeback at some point, and even if he has to wait a while, he can spend the time setting up the comeback.
I don’t see what he would have to offer anyone even if the stigma dissipated (which it won’t). He’s not “the talent”, and he no longer has any juice or ability to make/break careers in Hollywood.
He knows how to make successful movies. That's a talent in and of itself.

Weinstein definitely isn't "to" radioactive; but he may be too radioactive.
The bottom line is his behavior is the tip of the iceberg as to what really goes on in Hollywood. Someone, or some group of people, wanted to get rid of him for some other reason. Sexual harassment was just the pretext.
