It's happened before, where I after they finish a short film for me, I will throw a wrap party for everyone, to show my appreciation, or in our appreciation, if there is more than one producer, but the others don't want to come. Maybe it's not a bad sign and they just want to work together, but not actually hang out at a party after, and it's not a bad sign, and fine maybe?
A wrap party should be no more than 1/100th of the effort put into the production. Maybe it's simply a matter of a brief gig not really justifying attendance at a "company party."
Sometimes it's just that particular set of personalities. I've been on teams that always wanted to get together outside of work hours. Currently I'm on a team of great individuals, but they are just not into hanging out at social events. I wouldn't sweat it much.
Oh okay, well it was a volunteer project where everyone worked for free, so I thought that they would like food and drinks, I mean who wants to turn down those as a show of appreciation...
