Couldn't agree more. I've come across the show because of the fans' uproar when it was cancelled. Thought I'd give it a chance (it reminded me of how Firefly fans mourned its cancellation, and I absolutely love Firefly, so it couldn't be that bad, right?). Oh I’m so glad you loved it!!!! I really love how it starts of with such a tiny storyline of a missing girl and ends up being so massive. The writing, acting and special effects are so stellar. Everyone check it out!!!!

Firefly

Then ones I liked vs. arguing they are some best of....I agree that Altered Carbon and The Expanse were very enjoyable

STRANGER THINGS. This show is like a love letter to my childhood. I love it, even the less than lovable bits. I'll be sad when it ends.

THE X-FILES. The show went on a few seasons too many, but at its height, it was one of the best shows on TV.

STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION. Still my favorite Trek.

WONDERFALLS. Not "science" fiction so much as "speculative" fiction, but loads of fun.

Anthology shows like BLACK MIRROR, THE TWILIGHT ZONE, NIGHT GALLERY, etc. ... when they hit, they are some of the best TV around. But for every great episode, you have to sit through five that are not so great to bad.

WESTWORLD. I enjoyed the first season a lot. Season two was a bit of a mess. I'm hoping Season three will get the mojo back.

QUANTUM LEAP. Feel good TV at its finest. We need more shows like this.
