Interesting twist about actors. I agree. Some actors are good at the three disciplines being discussed, but they are more known for their acting...

I don't think they can act and dance!
How about Hugh Jackman and I think Lin Emmanuel Miranda? That's an odd combination, dancing, acting, and playing an instrument. Usually, it's singing. |

Hugh can DEFINITELY sing and dance. I just saw him a few months ago at Madison Square Garden, and he was OUTSTANDING!! He did play one song on piano, but he doesn't perform on piano very often. Same with LMM. He can play, but doesn't perform often. |

It's such an odd combination, dancing, acting and playing an instrument. If you can do the first two, then usually you are not known as an instrumentalist. If it were singing, then it would be everyone in a Broadway musical and many are household names. I think Gene Kelly played a little piano, but I don't think he was great at it. He was a director and a choreographer, as well as an actor and of course, dancer. |
