I've always liked him. Particularly that he didn't fall into the trap of romantic leading man.
Brad Pitt and the Beauty Trap
Male stars face a double standard, too, and ever since he bared his chest in “Thelma & Louise,” his work has been undervalued. But look closer and he explores masculinity in complex ways.

The meaning of Brad Pitt — as actor, star and supreme visual fetish — can be traced to the moment in the 1991 film “Thelma & Louise” when the camera pans up from his bare chest to his face like a caress... The delirium has resumed with Quentin Tarantino’s “Once Upon a Time … in Hollywood,” in which Pitt plays the Pitt-perfect role of Cliff Booth, a seasoned stunt man and coolest of cats.
Glad he won an Oscar tonight, yet didn't need to hear his political views. I agree it is a double standard for men. They are doing their job, yet women take offense. Can we say Super Bowl halftime show?
No he doesn't. Free country. American Citizen. Part and parcel.
I agree.
And in terms of his acting, by coincidence I just watched "A River Runs Through It" this past weekend. He's always been magnetic on screen. A fine, and at least until now, under-valued actor.
I'll have to see the movie now, but agree, pretty or not, he also needs to shut up with his political views.
Yes, another do as I say, not as I do Hollywood elite hypocrite. Running around screaming about global warming while jetting around the world in a private jet.

Great movie and I agree he's a good actor.
