Not sure if this is the right forum or not, but...

My parents are moving, and they have a bunch of my Legos from when I was a kid. Are they worth anything? They are in OK shape, but they are 30+ years old. I have some old lego catalogs and some instructions for different pieces. I put them on my local craigslist, but haven't had any interest.

Thanks

I don't think many people use CL anymore. It seems that Facebook Marketplace and Nextdoor are more favored because there's less anonymity.

I do think there's a market for Lego bricks. They aren't cheap, and there are plenty of mommas who might be interested in scoring some for a deal.

Well, I am not on Facebook and I don't want to sign up for nextdoor, so that kind of leaves CL. I guess I will keep my listing updated and see what happens

Perhaps you have a close friend or family member who would be willing to list them for you on FB or ND?

First off it's LEGO, being one piece or many. No S.

You can try the main used/new LEGO marketplace: https://www.bricklink.com/v2/main.page

There you can sell pieces, sets, books, etc.

Did it take a long time to find a seller, or did you just take the first good offer?

Bulk legos sell for 7 to 10 dollars per pound. There are lots of places that can guide you.

It was on CL for about 4 days. I had the normal spammers contact me, and I had a few low ball offers, but I eventually got a full price offer.
