There's no way to do a second movie, and it'd be lousy anyway like sequels tend to be.

Of course they could do a second movie. Just tell stories about different characters on the ship. The sinking is only the climax, and a good drama wouldn't have to emphasize that. After all, it wasn't the first movie about the Titanic.

America: The Motion Picture. A chainsaw-wielding George Washington teams with beer-loving bro Sam Adams to take down the Brits in a tongue-in-cheek riff on the American Revolution. Facts, schmacts. Channing Tatum steps into the butt-kicking boots of George Washington in this over-the-top animated comedy.

Well, they did have Abe Lincoln, Vampire Hunter, so...

Could probaby do it a lot of ways. After all, Titanic itself starts with the recovery of artifacts from the wreck, and thus the story of the person who owned some of them.

Hell, they could make a TV series out of that with different characters each episode, if anyone could stand the angst and lack of surprise endings ("the ship sinks at the end, 'most everybody dies") week after week.

Would have to be an all-female cast, you know how big a hit the Ghost Busters remake was.

They already ruined the first one with that ridiculous love story that was almost as important as the sinking of the ship. Give me the original from the 1950s any day.

I’m surprised that they haven’t made a part 2 for Titanic. I’m sure it would be a big hit if they create one. What do you guys think?
