Most of these guys would get at least a raised eyebrow in any group of normal people.

I forget the topic, but the conversation came around to women who speak with an uptick. That's a fairly recent development, and fodder for another discussion.

Their voices go up and down, like a constant uptilt disorder, if you were in normal conversation with someone who talked like they do you'd think that person was very very weird. Like a drama queen.

I've never noticed that. Maybe it's a midwest thing?

Brain fog?


I can think of few worse jobs than having to patter drivel for a set number of minutes every day, many times during the day, and make it sound fresh or interesting. I would rather shovel cow manure for a living. I might end up dirty and stinking, but my mind would be intact.
