I'll admit that at my age (60) I still read the comics first-in case I die while reading the paper at least I'll have had a laugh already. For the last few years "Pearls" has been at the top of my list, followed closely by "Pooch Cafe" (although it's only in a few papers, not any where I live). The originator of "Pearls" has to be as warped as I am and almost never disappoints.

Also I obtained by (current) nickname (not everyone I know, just those who read "Pearls) "Rat" as a result of this great strip.

Anyone else out there digging this great day starter?

I don't get the paper anymore, but I love PBS! Smart humor.

OMG - I thought I was the only one who read the comics first

PBS is one that I always read, and love it when the cartoonist satirizes himself in the panel.

I subscribe to the daily newspaper. I love sitting down after a day at work and reading the paper, but the comics always come first. PBS is one of my favorites, as is Pooch cafe. Pickles has to be my favorite though - as DH and I age, we can relate! And of course, being a corporate slave, Dilbert never disappoints. I am always amazed at the number of people who don't read the comics - I don't know what I'd do without my daily dose of humor!

I always say that if I ever get a tattoo it will most likely be one of the crocs. They rock.

"Rat" is on my ski helmet. Even strangers comment in the lift line. Love the crocs too!
