Nice blog.
Too bad I'm spoiled by modern comics who are done digitally now.
I 'hate' b/w comics the same way that I hate b/w movies (with the exception of 7 Samurai).
But I gotta say that your blog sure is politically incorrect.

What if you used photo's (of real people) instead of b/w drawings?
Then again you're a cartoonist and I'd understand if you think this is a bad idea, but in my defence if you used photos of real people it would bring more realism to the story (if that is what you're aiming at).
And it is cheap to do, all you need is a digital photo camera (unless your portable phone can take pictures too) and some (good lookin') friends.
Besidez, you could use your cartoons as a story board.

I guess Kevin Smith's Zack & Miri Make a Porn has made a bigger impact on my life as I'd realised.

I don't know how many of you used to read comics during the 1960's but I still remember a story from that decade that I want to recover again concerning the Rings of the planet Saturn. As I recall from the story The Rings of the planet Saturn flew away from Saturn and traveled to our planet Earth, then surrounded Earth. It was done by the Saturn-aliens in order to change Earth's environment into an environment similar to Saturn's. Evidently there are elements in the Rings that created Saturn's environment. It was not a superhero story but instead in DC's Strange Adventures or a similar anthology-type comic. So if anyone remembers that story and in what issue it appeared, maybe he can help.

I believe this is the issue you're referring to, 'From Beyond The Unknown #7. It's one of the shorter stories featured in this issue.

Also, for any comics fans interested...I write and draw an ongoing superhero webcomic that's basically an homage to the comics of my youth mixed in with a little modern storytelling style. It's free to read, any and all opinions are welcomed.
