A mysterious power makes you destroy forever either your TV or your Computer (with Internet). Which one do you keep and why? Another thread I was in prompted me to see how others choose.
My choice:
Keep the Computer. I hate TV anyways. If something on TV really interested me I could eventually find it on YouTube or something. Also I can't order all my goodies from a TV, well unless it's Liberty Mutual diabetic supplies or that swag off of QVC (are they still around?)
So yeah, smash the TV for sure.
That's easy - the TV goes. Not even a difficult decision. I don't watch much other than CNBC and sports anyway, and I could get that all online if I had to. Most TV today is just mind numbing crap anyway.

agreed. i was able to meet deadlines through the power of internet... tv? not so much.
I usually watch TV WHILE I am on the internet. But I could get the same programming and movies on the internet if I had to. Therefore, NOTHING trumps my internet. I would give up my car and take a bus before I would give up my internet.
