I grew up listening to the Jackson 5 & michael jackson (through the yrs ) & also watched there animated series on sat mornings. With Michael dying totally unexpected at such a young age has really SHOCKED the world. So far 12 people have committed suicide cause they claim they couldnt live without michael (strange). Anyways...I give him props for creating great music & hes going to be widely remembered Many yrs to come just like Elvis. Michael really was the king of pop just like elvis was the king of rock. Im listening to my fav jackson 5 song now... "Never Can Say Goodbye". My other fav J5 songs are Got to be there, Ill be there, I want you back, ABC, Never can say goodbye, The love you save, Going back to indiana & michaels early yrs solo hits Ben & Rockin robin. RIP MICHAEL...1958-2009. Michael would of turned 51 on 8-28-09.

His last song i think, Black or White. Michael Jackson was a big hit. It doesn't matter if you're black or white. "Dammit you agree with me, when I saw you kicking dirt in my eye."

I thought the making of the video was excellent. I am not sure if they awarded him on the video music. 1991.

I listen to Michael Jackson every day, usually while I work. I enjoy his Off The Wall and Thriller albums the most, however have to give the edge to Off The Wall. Jackson 5 had great tunes too.

All in all, what an amazing talent he was.

HE was amazing....despite what some think of some personality issues. His music is a standout and he was one of a kind. If anyone is interested, a biography of him by J. Taraborrelli is pretty great, though I have to say, have not finished, is a heavy book, close to 800 pages, but is very interesting.

He's 2 months older than me to the day. If I recall right, several people also committed suicide when John Lennon was killed. If it wasn't that, it probably would have been something else with unstable people like that.
