Please help. My family and I are stuck in texas(ugh!) for another 4 years but I am starting my research now. My husband is from port orford and always talks about going back home but sugested a larger communitie since port orford is a pretty small town. So im looking for something along the following.

Good Schools, we have 2 beautiful young daughters

Good Job oportunities, we plan to get jobs before we leave

A Family oriented comunitie, i want to let my kids outside to play and not have to worry overly much if they will be klidnapped

Ocean views, my husband grew up with the beach being his backyard, literaly

Lush Green trees and fields, id like a little land, i want a garden and orchard

Basic grocery shopping and such, anything fancy if i need it, i'll be more than willing to drive a little ways to get

Friendly people, im tired of telling people good morning or opening a door for someone and getting a glare in reply, its exhuasting

any ideas along these lines would be helpful to point me in the right direction thank you soo much to those who help

All of the towns on the coast are small to itty-bitty. The build-able area is narrow, ocean on one side mountains on the other, so any 'commute' would be north or south. If he has to drove over the coast range for employment don't live on the coast.. the commute would be beastly.

You should probably be posting in the Oregon forum. Eugene isn't on the Coast. As far as your requirements, I do not think most of them exist on the Oregon Coast except you probably can find your basic shopping centers.

I think you can ask the Mods to delete it but I don't think it will do any harm to leave it.
