Where could my 10 yr. old daughter play soccer? I would be willing to drive in to Eugene or Corvallis if absolutely necessary. We live in Louisiana now, and are not familiar with the area at all. We have 4 kids, and they are mostly excited about the move, but the little one needs soccer like she needs oxygen.

Maybe Eugene but it's a half-hour drive. I would call the Central Linn School District and ask where the local students play soccer.

Plus you can probably find local soccer clubs, maybe even within town! Soccer doesn't need to be through school. Look for signs around town about kid soccer leagues, maybe even a local church would know.

If you haven't looked into this option already, try Sweet Home, OR which is around 15 miles NE from Brownsville as its a bigger town and I've noticed what appears to be a very active school system. They might have soccer options! They have a great swim team! Good luck.

I loved Brownsville when we lived there about 5 years ago. They had soccer for the younger kids, practice was at the Brownsville park. No Soccer in High School though.

Haven't lived in Brownsville for many, many years but we loved it. Hope you find it as enjoyable as we did and the drive to Eugene is down I-5 pretty easy it was our go-to town. My husband worked in Lebanon, shorter miles, but 2 lane and depending on where you lived could take almost as long.
