Yep. Skinners Butte (My mothers side of the family), and the Willamette River. I could tell you stories about the Butte, but I won't.

A little description would help. Mostly Yapoha (spelling) Terrace in the foreground, and Downtown Eugene from about Olive to Pearl and along Willamette Street. That's Spencer's Butte in the far distance. Another vantage point.

Some of my best youthful romances were at that lookout.

Give the Spencer's Butte trail a go next time. And Hendricks's Park.

I would love to see some pictures of a ordinary residential neighborhoods, that would be nice just to see what a typical street of homes looks like in Eugene. If anybody could take a few such pics I would be grateful.

Google Street View is good for looking at typical residential streets.

I agree, I don't usually head into the neighborhoods too often as the way the streets are, but if I do this weekend I'll take some shots & post them up

The neighborhoods in Eugene each sort of have their own personality... I think the most fun 'hood to photograph would be the Whit or perhaps Friendly st. area... The most beautiful probably South Hills. I love my little area, but I wouldn't want to take photos of it and post it online... not only would it let people know where I live, but it might encourage people to drive around here, causing increased traffic, and we love how quiet it is!
