Alright, after being left in the lower rainfall range the past couple of events, it appears Eugene will finally be the winner in terms of rainfall for the three largest cities of Oregon ( Salem,Eugene,Portland). The latest short term computer guidance indicates a band of rain will begin pushing into Eugene by 9 AM in the morning, the area could end up picking up as much as 1 inch of rain by the end of tomorrow, though 0.5 to 0.9 inches seems more likely, the farther north you go up, the less rain you'll get. Make sure to keep an umbrella around as a rainy day is likely tomorrow, a steady rain may occur all day long.

Real Oregonians never use an umbrella! And to suggest the use of one is like saying a champion bicyclist should use training wheels!

My garden in Dallas needed it, and my Brother in Springfield says the rain is really needed on his garden.
