I am planning to move to Eugene in May of 2008 because I need a lifestyle change from the Southeast. However, I will need to find work when I get to Eugene. I am hoping that other forum members would share there opinions about the local job market. I have a background in accounting, business administration and information management in small to mid-sized companies in various industries. This may seem idealistic, but I want to work for an organization where employees actually like their jobs. I'm looking forward to your comments.

We might be competition!
I too am looking to move to Eugene in the next few months and am looking for an accounting job. I am wondering if there might be some secret source of job listings that we can't see since we don't live in Eugene! I would love to find a position with a green, sustainable business but haven't found one so far. I have found the most listings at Craigslist and Register Guard. I have also signed up with WorkSource Oregon and found a few listings.
