You people, oh my gosh!
I know, right? At least now Mr. Eugenified's paranoid fears of brainwashing can be allayed.

Not really. That's the perfect cover for a team of brainwashers to use!

Oh, that's true. Maybe I have been brainwashed. See how quickly I took the bait? Hmm...

Hey, just noticed that one of the signs has been partially painted over...it appears this was done by someone who does not like the message. The sign is located at the corner of Washington St and Lorane Hwy. The sign says ______ Your Husband. I can not read the _____ part that was sprayed over. I am usually practicing my slalom driving skills while going around those corners, so I can not catch what is written underneath the obscuring spray paint.

By the way, if it says "Respect Your Husband", I am definitely back to believing this is a religious cult action, whether being done by a mother/daughter team or not.

Update: I checked today and saw that the sign originally read as "Love Your Husband". Taken alone, it might be interpreted as implying/supporting a one-sided, subservient role for women. It's impossible to know for sure though. Perhaps there are also "Love Your Wife" signs posted in other locations?

Maybe they could have been more inclusive AND avoided misunderstanding if they had written it as, "Love your Partner". It sounds strange to my ears too, but I guess we will get used to this terminology in a few years.

Not really. When I was young it was not normal if both parents weren't in the home.

I saw one today by the bus station where all the runaway kids hang out. It said "Please Come Home". That's a good message.

Downtown by the library? I gotta get a photo of that one..

And where was the "Love Your Husband" one? Is it still at Washington St and Lorane Hwy? I have Love your wife, but not the love your husband one...
