Once again, one of my feeble attempts at comedy has fallen flat.

But anyways...Here's a good reason to not shop at Wal-Mart...check out the Wal-Mart documentary: http://www.netflix.com/WiMovie/Wal-M...rice/70040809?

Check out our weather today: Rain in the morning, heavy at times, turning into clear blue skies and bright sun around 11:30am and now shifting back towards overcast around 2:45pm. I love it! That's the Eugene weather than I am talking about. Forget what you have heard about "days and days of endless gray".

There have been THREE days of endless grey in Arizona: Dec 28th-Dec 30th. It's horrible and very unusual.

Some areas of Oregon actually have more Clear days in the Summer than certain areas in the Rocky Mountain West, since the Monsoons bring Thunderstorms to the four corners states. Eugene averages 18 clear days dawn to dusk in July:

The tradeoff is dreary winters.
