My 22 year old son and his fiance (both college seniors) will make their first visit to Oregon early next month. Being new to Eugene myself, and far removed from their generation, I'd appreciate recommendations on places to eat, visit or hang out, that best reflects Eugene's young adult experience.

I might not be the best person to respond because I'm a 30-something married mom myself, but you might try looking around on the website

You might take them to Toshi's Ramen (1520 Pearl St Eugene, OR 97401 (541) 683-7833) or
Laughing Planet to eat... then maybe hike up
Spencer's Butte if they're into outdoorsy things... a drive to the coast is always a favorite thing to do (check out the lights at Shore Acres)...
McMenamin's would be a good spot if they like drinking (most young people their age do...)... or another local pub or bar...
Check
Eugene Weekly to see if there's something going on that they would like. A lot of it, too, would depend on what they are interested in - music? Art? Sports? Theater? Outdoorsy adventures?
