So, apparently Springfield, OR was named after a spring found in a field near the city. Does anyone know of any springs that are still flowing in the Springfield-Eugene area? I'm really curious. Thanks!

There's a tiny one on the south side of 69th place at the cul de sac corner. There are little springs all over the place in Oregon. It isn't entirely a concrete jungle yet.

According to this story off the City of Springfield website, apartments were built over the spring... sad, huh? But as Kate said - there are springs and creeks all over this area. You just gotta get out there and look. Springtime is prolly the best time to go looking...
