Thank you for the 'tips' Catbelle, I just wish I could afford to go to Spain a little more often! I do have a Spanish Uncle perhaps I could practice with him - though he has lived in the UK for 40 years - such a long time I often forget he is Spanish!! lol

Yea but nobody in the UK and Ireland says they are in Europe. Just means the continent.

I still get funny looks when I say schedule and vitamin the American way. Even had a friend correct me when I said tomayto.

Well only old people pronounce schedhule the British way where I live.

I've heard it both ways here, but more often is the British way. Never heard anyone say vitamin the American way.

It's becoming a thing to say in the younger generation. Although I pronounce it the British way and will continue to do so. The American way dosnt sound right.
