So strange. When I was in Sweden, none of the people I knew had blue eyes. All were brown-eyed. If I met any blue-eyed people in passing, I don't remember them. People have a variety of features, too. I didn't see anyone who looks anything like the photo you posted, thank heaven. He looks scary.

In the UK and Ireland blue eyes are common. Ma and Pa had blues eyes. To the OPs question. No. Scandinavian women are not looked upon as something wonderfully beautiful. Natural blonds are in other countries as well. The massive influx of eastern European women into England has given us some very good looking women. Well they are just different in looks really. Latvians I find very attractive. Eastern European women, because of their diets and eating habits, tend to be very slim. I am not too impressed with Russian women and many live around me. Very few smile, while Poles do. Wait until they get a western diet of processed junk food. The Commie system must have had some good points then.

haha, wow! Just fyi, the ideal in the USSR was plump women. And the traditional Russian diet is very big on carbs and sour cream, very fattening stuff. Thin women (the few that there were) were constantly urged to eat more, and get some meat on their bones. If E European women are slim, believe me, it's not because of their customary diet.
The classic European man: Light hair, eyes, skin admires Spanish, Italian, Balkans girls. But USA men equate those women with Mexicans and South Americans (mixed results).
So OP is true to an extent. European men don't drool over blondes like Americans/Non Europeans do.
There are few more beautiful than a young Russian woman . . . and few more ugly than an old Russian woman.
