My parents might be relocating from the New York City area to Geneva. I'd love to move with them if I could. I'm 28, but I'd love to go with them for a few years just for the experience. However, since I'm of age, it seems like the only way for me to go too would be to get a work visa, right? If my dad is moving there for work, there's no way that his business could also get a visa for me as well? Just want to see if that's even a possibility... Thanks!

As far as I know, your father will get a visa and work permit for him *and* his wife, but you, as you stated already, being *of age*, are a complete separate entity and are absolutely NOT connected to your Mom and Dad. I am stating *complete* and *absolutely*, because there are no ifs, ands or buts .

It happened to us when we lived and worked there.
When two of our children turned past 18, they had to leave.

So, the only way is to get a job there, before you go, or, get a visitor's visa for however many months they will give you, and then try to find a job there while *visiting*.

If you do not *have* to work, then you could go *in and out*,
each time when your visa is about to expire ...

At least you'll have a free place to stay while you visit, that counts for a lot! Will your dad be working for the UN? If so, it's possible that over time he could find you a job somewhere in the vast UN bureaucracy.

Sadly, no. Not the UN. Just an international company.
