Eastern Europe and Diversity (crime, best, life, country)

So the Western Euro cities are all really diverse now which is awesome, but Eastern Europe is still lily white. Don't you think it would be a great idea for those countries to become diverse too, or are the people there still just way too racist to dig that kind of thing? I think cities like Warsaw and Moscow would be MUCH cooler if they were 30% minorities

Dunno about Warsaw, but Moscow is like 40-45% of minorites by now.

Minorities get harassed, though. Would you happen to have a source for that 40-45% figure, btw? Does that include temporary residents, like university students?

They also harrass as well, it is a two way street. It is not like all those illegal (and legal) Tajiks, Uzbeks, Chechens, etc are some angels or something.
When I was last in Moscow, I thought I was in a city in central Asia given the number of them I saw.
Eastern Europe has its own problems, I do not think adding some minority groups, who of course will be from some third world dump, will help matters, and is not in the best interest of these countries.
The minorities will take the all too common predictable path; come, huddle together into some ghetto area and increase the crime, start protesting they are being oppressed, riot, try to impose their way of life on the host nation, refuse to assimilate, etc.
No, if east Europe is smart, they would stay out of the mess west Europe can hardly handle with their resources. But I am sure there are some political parties out there trying to increase their rolls, and one way they are looking to do it is get some immigrants to come in who will forever vote with their party.
As I mentioned in another thread with Sweden; someone stated Sweden needs immigrants, and I ask if that was the case, why not let people from all countries the opportunity to come in?

Exactly, and who can tell another country how run themselves into the ground? Some countries still put their own tax paying citizens ahead of free loaders.
Why should it? There's also another reason why people aren't flocking there. Are you going to lecture Japan because they're 99% Japanese? Why should a European country be multicultural, and not an Asian/African one?
