Perhaps less mix than people think because in the past in those years people didn't usually mix with arabs. Nowadays it is not very usual with immigrants, in the past even more strange.
Not so true,the mix was so common that the entire population of certain cities were mixed people,arabs mixed with berbers which in return mixed with the people living the iberian peninsula (actual Spain and Portugal) not mentioning the "spanish" enclaves of Melila & Ceuta in North Africa,Canarias islands (with the native berbers) plus the intermariages were very frequent,
But see, more recent immigrants can't dictate their rules, but back in the day when arabs were conquerors, under their religion local women could be easily forced into harems.
So Spaniards can consider themselves lucky if the arabic admixture there is only 11%.

Not true, mixed marriages were not common at all, were forbidden by law and only allowed between Christians Iberians and Jews, but not for Muslims.
And mentioning the "spanish" enclaves, the autochthonous population of Ceuta and Melilla was expelled, and you have more chances of finding Latin American than African blood in the Canary islands due to the extermination of its native inhabitants.
U got it wrong,most muslims in Spain were not Arabs but North Africans even though the official language was Arabic .
