Are there people living or who lived in Berlin who can give me their mind ??
I've lived in Berlin for 3 years so I think I can help you.

These two cities do not have much in common. In your case, I would definitely prefer Berlin. By the time your salary is gonna be the same in both cities, in Berlin your purchase power would be significantly higher. Take a look at this cost of living comparison between Berlin and Paris. In Berlin you can have a nice apartment with around 600€/month in the city centre. If you choose to live in the suburbs, prices are lower than that. And when I say suburb, I mean a place from which you can reach the city centre in less than 20 minutes using U-Bahn or S-Bahn like Steglitz (very nice suburb in SW Berlin).

Life in Berlin is quie and relaxing. There are no traffic jams, there are many places to hang out so you never get bored, it's a safe city, you don't worry that someone would break into your house. In my neighbourhood, people were sleeping with wide open windows and they used to forget the keys outside the door

Berlin all the way. Berlin is an amazing city and Germans and really nice people. Also is twice as cheap as Paris.

Parisiens are bastards that hate everyone that are not from Paris (J'aime rien, je suis parisien)

I don't remember much dog poo in Paris. In the North. Some other things, but not dog poo.

Nighlife is amazing in Paris (not in the suburb) compared to Berlin, London, NYC and Barcelona.
There are hundreds of nice clubs and bars who closed at 6 or 8 a.m but it is true, it is important to know very well the city before going to Paris for nightlife.

The only problems of Paris are the cost of living, les parisiens, the homeless people, dog poo, some smelly and dirty places, and the weather (always cloudy even during summer)

The weather in Paris is quite bad compared to other places in France but it still significantly better than in Berlin.
