Any Dutch people here? I met this gorgeous Dutch guy on a plane, we talked and I sensed he was flirting. But I was told that Dutch men don't flirt. How can I tell if a Dutch guy likes me?

I became so shy that I didn't ask for his number, which I usually would do.
I live in Italy and the men here I am not attracted to. So dating a N. European is a dream.

If they keep up the conversation, they're into you. The chances are, they're not just passing the time.

Thanks guy for your responses. Well I saw a YouTube video about Dutch culture and dating Dutch men and it said Dutch men don't flirt. LOL.
I regret not following up and asking for his number. Would that be too forward for Dutch men if I asked them out?

Of course Dutch men flirt lol, where do you people get this ideas haha. In the NL it is called "Sjansen".

OP, you just had sjans with a Dutch man and let him walk. Too bad for you. If he kept the conversation means he was trying to get to know you better. And that is for a reason of course.
