There's a lot of discussion on the American forum about high crime areas of most cities in the USA. I'm just curious to know what the areas are to avoid in your city and also the most notorious areas/cities in your country and what type of crime happens there?

There are no areas to avoid out of necessity. Some areas are pretty crap and have high crime, but there is a very low risk of anything happening.

Really? Could you provide some statistics? I don't know, but perhaps, those more clever and less dangerous just move to Helsinki, using such an opportunity as far as the borders are open.

The Berlin subway/underground at night. And the Alexanderplatz. Creepy as **** at night: only gang bangers, drunk scumbags, agressive homeless people, junkies... there were many incidents of beatings, rape and even manslaughter in the last years at that square, the most notorious one happened in 2012 and shocked whole of Germany because of its pure baselessness:

There isn't a dangerous, no-go-area at daytime. It changes when the sun goes down...however that's just Berlin, most of Germany is VERY peaceful and has a rather low rate of felony crimes.

Interesting information, thanks. But I guess, it's only Neukölln, Kreuzberg and some places in the Mitte. So they say. And some say that even there the danger is overrated.

Yeah those are the hot spots together with some more "rough" commie block areas in East Berlin. Crime there is indeed overrated (mostly torts and minor offences) but as i mentioned there is a difference between daytime and night. The "scum" seems to really leave its "caves" when it turns dark outside...
Most residential outskirts and outer places are very safe, though. Most crime is concentrated in Central Berlin.

If you are a real Muscovite, how is the situation in Moscow?
