He built plenty of factories and heavy industries. What an icon, huh...

You're the one that loved Stalin and the Socialist Party, the socialist party was Marxist during the times of Franco. Franco was never Fascist, that's a boiled potato the forced fed you when you were born.

You're an ignorant. Plain and simple. Get yourself educated.

And it doesn't matter how many times you say I am a commie or a socialist, it still won't be true. You're wasting your time.

People like you did not bring democracy or richness to Spain, Francoists did, and really.... you are so primeval..when someone does not believes in your clichés you always start to scream "fascist"...

I was born in a democratic system, thank God. As were my grandparents (before Franco). And I said Franco was a fascist (which he was -but call him a totalitarian grandaddy if you prefer-), not you. I don't care what you are. And YOU talk to me about clichés? PLEASE, this is hilarious...

Again: a capitalist country brought the money, not Francoism. Jeez, go read a good book.

C'mon, during Franco's time you all were a bunch of admirers of the USSR, maoists, terrorists, that's why they had to kick you in the head so many times....and now, because all the "commies" like you have lost their ideals, they all have become extremely corrupt.
I'd rather be caught dead than in a totalitarian country, left or right. "The commies like you"... Gosh you're square...

I live in Spain, you were the one that had to leave for being a burnhead and a extremist kook. No need for people like you, we don't need terrorists. You sound like Grapo. We thrive here, just that we have accounts to settle with people like you.

Antiquity? Your beloved fascists, who were so efficient, rose to power in the 30's taking Spain to decades of repression, obscurity and poverty. You're talking about when the USA came to the rescue of a pitiable Third World economy, culture and government.

-----

So you hate Spain, hope you never come back!!!!
No place for people like you, no Grapos and no ETA anymore.
No place for the likes of you.

and again, your childish ad hominem attacks where I was a commie, now a terrorist, etc. I bet you're much older than me, and yet you sound like a bitter 12-year-old.

You're the one with the aggressive language and it's the other people that are terrorists? LOL Poor guy... Keep having your para-fascist wet dreams: that old, miserable Spain of yours will never come back.

never come back? I'm in Spain. In 2011.

You wish you could kill a few thousands so they would stop spreading "lies" about your glorious totalitarian chiefs, don't you? Aw, those were times...

I love movies, so here goes a movie recommendation: The End Of Silence. It's a Swedish docummentary film. I bet you'll hate it

ROFL they had to kick me and who else? Don't get carried away in your dream world of murdered leftists and victorious fascists, nobody has ever kicked me in the head and nobody ever will, hopefully! I'm sorry to let you down in your anti-terrorist expectations!

that old, miserable Spain of yours will never come back

Sorry to mingle in this passionate exchange of views, but I'd like to make a point here : I visited "old "Spain frequently as a kid in the sixties and early seventies , and it didn't seem "miserable' to me , and certainly more secure than today (I was mugged 2 times in Barcelona, in the late eighties and in 2008).

When I was a kid, I visited Cuba. I thought it was paradise with all those people relaxing in the sun, children playing in the middle of the street, etc. It turns out it wasn't: there was (and there is) oppression, no freedom of speech, no democracy, and loads of misery.

When, years later, we went to Miami and Orlando (we have relatives there), I saw loads of panhandlers and rather scary-looking people. I guess there were random murders and robberies, as there are now. And yet, that's democracy for you and it's always much better than the violently enforced "alternatives".

Spain was fine if you agreed with what the government had in store for you. And after the huge American aid in the 50s, as I previously said, everything began to look better, the government opened up a bit (slowly allowing for some very slight disagreement), etc.*** Besides, there were no jobless immigrants as everything was so carefully planned and controlled (dear nanny state... ). Despite which people were still being tortured and executed for political reasons (not being fascists), homosexuals were jailed, journalists were jailed, many Spaniards had to remain exiled and, by the way, even when the democratic transition began, unhappy falangists (a real brainless subhuman called Blas Piñar was their leader) kept murdering people in terrorist attacks. They wouldn't get used to the new ways, alas...

You know what? There's probably little crime in North Korea (there's no free press there, so who knows right? But with all the police and repression, no matter how hungry and/or desperate they are I'm sure there's little), as there was much less crime in nazi Germany, fascist Italy, communist Russia... I still prefer to take care of myself, grab my purse and live where human rights count for something.

*** This type of change almost always happens just before the totalitarian system of government is reformed. See, for instance, what happened during Gorbachev's USSR (Glasnost).
