Out of the balkans, other than Bulgaria I've been just to Serbia, Beo/Belgrad and liked it.
But Bosnia seems like the 'lightweight' version of Serbia. I've even choose Macedonia over Bosnia...and that's saying something considering how much macedonians "love" my country. Sarajevo seems like the type of city that will appeal to Angelina Jolly making a war movie there lol.
If you disagree, which European cities would you say are more beautiful?
As always, beauty lies in the eye of the beholder. Sarajevo seems like a pretty strange contender for being Europe's most beautiful city, though. Some parts seem to be incredibly run-down (as in: concrete apartment blocks with lots of bullet holes. Yes, in 2015).

At least in costal Bosnia..many cars didn t have their plaque.. And houses were still with big holes in their walls due to the past war.
People in shop very insistent to sell your their suvenirs..it made me very angry.
Beautiful setting, but I'd vote for Prague (talking large cities, many beautiful towns everywhere).
Yeah, I do quite like Prague as well.
