Oh, do not be alarmed! There is nothing to be redeemed about, you are a simply confused chap! The most common pigmentation combination in the British Isles, is a fair skin, brown hair, and usually bluish or greenish eyes and a more or less sharp facial profile. However this doesn't mean there are those who don't conform to it, you could be in this case, you probably have a skin tone that's darker than what would be the average for White Brits (perhaps olive in tone). Nobody said that red hair is the most common hair color, but it is a typical hair color since the British Isles has the highest frequency of redhead per capita in the world. Those of you of a stronger Celtic extraction will usually burn and never tan, while those of you with less Celtic extraction may burn and then tan regardless of hair/eye color.
Erm....this still doesn't answer my question? I am not just concerned about myself, I want to know exactly how many of the Britons I live amongst conform to your 'British look', I have a feeling hardly any, but until you specify exactly what this 'look' is that we have to conform to how am I going to know???
I don't know anybody at all that looks like that!? Instead of just posting random pictures of god knows who can't you just simply tell me what this 'British look' is please? So that I can count how many Britons I live amongst conform to it?

You just can't see it, can you? The guy in the picture is Scottish actor James McAvoy, he won in December 2013 the Best Actor at the British Independant Film Awards. I thought you would know who he is, but that's fine don't be alarmed!
It's unfortunate for him that he has red hair and beard. Red hair is not a very pleasant trait to have.
Oh well it depends on individual basis. Some people are gingerphobic, they despise redheads and have stereotypes about them, others just adore them. There are plenty of dark-haired or blonde-haired women who dye their hair red, see. Different people, different tastes. McAvoy has a redbeard, but I don't really consider him a redhead, his hair color goes more towards the brown, perhaps I would call it reddish-brown but not a ginger. There are plenty of women who are his fans, so I would not call that unpleasant. I have red hair and freckles as well, so to me, there are blondes who are quite pleasant, others who aren't, the same with brunettes and redheads. Red-haired Irish model Aoife Walsh is a pleasant-looking, I think.
