Many of the men look quite muscular and well-fed. They obviously haven't had it all that bad in Syria up until relatively recently (if at all). Why aren't they fighting for their freedom against Assad and/or Isis? Or maybe that's the issue; many of these people are or were Assad supporters?

"We have 50 million Muslims in Europe. There are signs that Allah will grant Islam victory in Europe—without swords, without guns, without conquest—will turn it into a Muslim continent within a few decades." - Muammar Gaddafi

I've noticed that there were no Syrian refugees "entering Europe" until Europe ( or was it the US?) decided that Assad was a "bloody tyrant."
Apparently Europe ( or was it the US?) thought that Libyan refugees in Europe were not enough.

What is the solution the EU has in mind for all this?

Why are these people being referred to as "refugees"? In Macedonia they just stormed past the riot police. This is a population migration, if not an outright invasion. Doesn't matter if they're unarmed, they will fundamentally change European society with their Islamic beliefs.

It was the Syrian people who decided they had enough of Assad's tyranny (fully supported by Russia). Both the US and EU were very late in stepping into that mess. As much as you Russo-philes would love to blame this on the EU or USA - you can't. But, as we can all see, you will still try.

"in need", and yet they're able pay 5000$ for the travel to europe. it's just pure luxury immigration. they've heard about the hot girls, handouts etc etc from relatives already here. that's what it's all about. the higher the living standard in the 3rd world, the more information they're able to gather via the internet and television, and the more of them will search for a future in europe. BUT: they haven't proven to be able to create or live in such societies themselves. they have a longstanding, noble tradition of creating dumps, and they will manage to make europe a sewer in a few decades too if this suicidal experiment continues.. they want to eat of the cake, but they aren't able to bake it. that's the truth.
