Yeah to be honest this situation has sort of turned me off to Europe as far as visiting goes, apart from cloistered countries like Switzerland. The number of terrorist attacks has increased exponentially in places like France. I was planning a Europe trip next summer but if this continues to be a problem I will go to South America instead.
Are you kidding me? The amount of mass shooting/police brutality/gang violence incidents in America in a month is probably worse than all the terrorist attacks taken place in Europe in 2014 and 2015, yet you're worried about your safety as a tourist to Europe?
And you actually think South America is safer than Europe? Seriously?

Violence in America is largely contained to domestic and gang disputes. Yes there are random shootings but not the level of Islamic extremist terrorism that occurs in Europe, not per capita at least in random public places like trains or other places I would have to use as a tourist. Tourists are targeted in Europe. There were Americans on the train car during the last terrorist attack. You can look at my post in the other thread cataloging all of the terrorist attacks in France in the past year alone. I have no reason to believe it will not get worse.
As far as South America goes I wouldn't go to someplace like Colombia or Venezuela, I'm planning to visit Montevideo, Salta, Buenos Aires and/or Santiago. Not all of South America is dangerous. And again neither is Europe but this situation is out of control. Where is the regard for national security?
Keep in mind that many of the refugees are not the Muslims you obviously dislike, but members of the ancient Christian communities in the Middle East. Thus, you might want to sort out your "all" a bit.
This is true....a large percentage of the refugees from the Middle East in particular are Christian and frankly I think they should be giving precedent since they will historically integrate better into a Christian/secular Europe as oppose to Islamic oriented refugees. Which by the way, why aren't wealthy Muslim countries like the Gulf countries opening their borders to their co-religionist?

Can you link your source? Christians are pretty much gone out of the Middle East.....you know, because Muslims are such a tolerant people......as Europeans will find out soon enough.
Groups like ISIS have been known to exploit chaos and without a doubt they are sending people to Europe as "refugees." But nobody there seems to have any respect for the diligence and details involved in investigating and deciding whether someone in fact is a refugee or if they are a national security threat. Those who are welcoming all these migrants as "refugees" are as conclusory as they are naive.

The crime rate in the U.S. is generally in-line or lower than of Western Europe. It's actually significantly lower than some Western Europe countries.
The homicide rate is much higher, though. But almost every other crime category is lower in the U.S.

Some are - Turkey, Lebanon, Jordan, some others (i.e. northern Iraq aka Kurdistan) - as for the rest well they don't want a bunch of disenfranchised persons coming to their countries and upsetting their delicate Islamic balance.
Nope, once Germany is broke and muslimic, Italy will be next. Sorry, dude.
