Doesn't appear to be many "limousines" in Limousin.
I know a lot of rich people from around the world have homes in the south of France. And of course there are the resorts that cater to them. But I think there are a number of "banlieues" in the south of France, too.

Um, yeah. Not too many people there (I think it's the least populated région of the country), that's why I always say "la Creuse c'est le trou du cul du monde" . It's like Champagne, you know, it's not because a place gave its name to a thing that this thing is more common in this special place.

There are "banlieues" everywhere in most big French cities, it's not reserved to Paris. Why you seemed surprised ?
And I guess rich people go to the south because of the climate, or things like that.

The promenade des anglais, the architecture... and the order, not an anarchic Italian city. Does not look like Italian cities just across the frontier, vintimiglia, etc. The main feature is that the city has been receiving tourists since the 18th century, English tourists, and in a way, my opinion, they somehow imprinted some character, the character of tipical luxury resorts but with palm trees..brighton, san sebastian, etc.

Montecarlo does not look very Italian either.
Both Nice (Nizza) and Montecarlo were founded by Italians and have a distinct Italian touch: Nice has been under French control for over 150 years and Montecarlo is a place of its own.

In the 1970s, the Rolling Stones moved to France as tax exiles.

Banlieue just means suburbs. There are wealthy, poor banlieue and the vast majority of them are middle class.

Given you don't know for your own admission Italy and its culture, that you rarely get out of your house (for you own admission) and that you don't live in Nice (for your own admission), I guess you aren't really the best person to just dismiss someone else's opinion with "...meh".
