Loved Mont St Michel before high season....all the shops closed and it was amazing to wander around almost all by ourselves along the outer wall!

Leiden has the canals but minus the crazy crowds of Amsterdam. Bruges. I love Bruges all seasons. Spent Christmas Day there and the city was so beautiful and alive with people wandering along the main streets. Ice skating and the pretty lights add to the atmosphere.
The beautiful window displays and a bowl of hot chocolate or gluhwein. Yummmmm

Let me help ya out with that. Here's the perfect destination.

There's a lot to sea in there

Oberammergau, Bavaria, Germany, especially in winter. Quiet, beautiful and surrounded by the mountains.

I found Segovia Spain to be very romantic

Venice is overrun with tourists, you cannot walk or have personal space there... it's almost claustrophobic! (how can a place like that be romantic?)

Salzburg is boring and kinda sterile

Florence is like venice, flooded with tourists

I'd say segovia spain!
