Yes, but they are equivalents to sleet, frosty precipitation, icy rain, snow, slush and so on.

The Inuits really don't have any choice, as they have snow for 9 months of the year at least.

I don't buy this since finnish people has long history of skating, skiing, other winter sports, ice and snow swimming etc. Also I heard finnish schools has no limits when to go to school.

If some modern city ppl don't like snow or cold weathers it does not mean everyone would hide.. Some people are waiting it

I was merely positing a reason that would explain both the Finn's dearth of snow-related words and their wealth of words related to genitalia.

Snow is with us only for a few months in a year, the genitalia follows us everywhere every day.
