My opinion is neutral as lgbt-s don´t bother me although I don´t see legalizing of such type of marriages as the most burning problem of this country.
But however, I generally support everything what could encourage broad-mindedness and help to get rid from the cave-man mentality in this society, thus the above mentioned marriages as well. However, many in this society do not think so.

The Senate has just passed civil unions with 171 votes out of 244 voters (71 voters of the Five Star Movement walked out in protest due to the practices used by the PD to pass the law but they were largely in favour of it anyway).

The ball is no to the House of Deputees now and Renzi plans to pass laws regarding adoptions by 2018

I think that no one can prohibit same sex couples to make up families. this is their choice. but same sex adoption is quite a disputable thing. There are some pros and cons. I think it's better to make a survey of teens and elder adoptees who were raised in homosexual families. they know better.

The main concern that should be raised for adoption is the whether the candidate is parent material or not. Sexual orientation is not an indication on whether someone is a good person or not, it's only an excuse people use to ostracize those they feel uncomfortable with, IMO.
