I fully support the French in this move, and it will no doubt further speed up the decline of the EU.

Well, in some way there's only one country left out of 26 whose official language is English (and not the only one as that)

I propose we all learn and communicate in german instead, it's the largest and strongest country, that would make more sense than the language of the bipolar Island.

I wonder if they prefer German, they should not expect the rest of the EU to learn French.

I would vote for Latin. Back to the roots.

God...it is either being French and speaking though your nose with tight leather lips...or being German and growling out guttural commands.....English is the way to go...at least it is some what pleasant to listen to.

It's not serious. A French anti-Brexit politician declaration in the heat of the moment. France as a whole has never been as anglicized as it is now, save maybe during the Hundred Years war.
