GDP / per head
$2,448.5b / $62,557 California
$2,422.0b / $36,312 France
$2,410.9b / $37,320 UK
with a euro / dollar at 1.11 it is true!
But don't forget GDP calculation is very different between the USA and France.
USA added a lot of immeterial goods to boost GDP.
China did it yesterday too...and added 125 billion euros thanks to a new calculation method...
Did you know that with some methods you can easily boost your GDP by 20%?

California would be the 6th largest economy in the world if it were independent. But GDP figures aren't comparable, as the US is an internal market, while the EU is a shared market. For example Walmart. It operates in all 50 states, and also abroad, and it boosts massively the GDP of Arkansas. Carrefour is the most profitable grocery chain in Europe, and it doesn't even operate in Germany, the UK or Scandinavia. If Carrefour would be THE brand of cheap shopping from Lisbon to Helsinki, it would be enormously bigger and boost the French GDP a lot.
Euro dollar is on a bullish trend 1.05/1.10 for 1.21 and then 1.50 before 2025.
Trust me.
You will see...
Europe will be 40% bigger than USA just with the exchange rate before 2025.
Dude what are you talking about
EUR/USD was already 1.4 and it came down all the way here and QE is continuing
It'll probably be 0.8-0.9 before 2020.

Don t forget that the UK contrary to France added drug and prostitution into GDP for the last 15 years which means 47 billion euros more into GDP.
France is the only European country which never took into account drug and prostitution.
France in 2015 = 2182 billion euros
UK in 2015 = 2129 billion euros + 43 billion euros of drug and prostitution = 2172
Infact Uk never overtook France...
Where were you hiding? It was nice and peaceful without you around.

Who really cares. I thought we were past all this bulls--t . So France is the best, the greatest, the most wonderful country in the world, maybe even in the universe. Happy now!
