What the heck? Anyone know anything else about this yet? I'm hearing at least 20 hurt, some critically.

German train 'axe attack': Many reported hurt - BBC News

I used to live really close to where this happened.

Nah, nothing more info yet.

Unbekannter mit Axt und Messer verletzte 4 Personen schwer, eine Person leicht. 14 weitere Personen stehen unter Schock.

So 4 seriously injured, one lightly and 14 in shock. Whatever that means.

Here we go again. Nice, Turkey, and now this. I don't know how our heads can cope with all this if it continues like that. In the US you can have a couple of Orlandos, raise a shoulder and life goes on, but we Europeans are not quite that balanced and level-headed.

Maybe it's time to hone my riot gear: black casuals, balaclava, hockey stick and yesterday's paper so I can torch a car. Maybe it makes me feel better.

Your original link - they must be updating it. They said unconfirmed but suspected 17 year old afghan guy. Also said shot dead while fleeing.

Ban axes now!!

Nobody needs an axe except law enforcement...

This world would be so much safer if nobody was able to open carry an axe
