As in are there some hotspots to avoid where they congregate? Have you or anyone you know been a victim?

Fortunately we don't have many in the U.S. I have only ever encountered one before a long time ago and I remember her telling me one of the first things she learned as a kid was how to steal. I was surprised how upfront about it she was. Also remember on the Dr. Phil show a band of them had a business setup where they acted as if they were working for his business and even impersonated his wife lol.

Use common sense, and you will not have to get worried.

Here you can find good advice:

Don’t call them Gypsies. They’re known as Romani or Roma now.

Don't call them Romani or Roma, they might be mistaken for Romanians.

Anyway, there are many that lead a nomadic life that is not compatible with European culture, they steal and commit all sorts of crime.

Then there are people integrated into society, that don't live a nomadic and thuggish lifestyle, they live a law-abiding life, for the most part.

It's common sense to avoid the nomads all costs.

Much more needs to be done to get their children a good education, even if it resorts to them being forced to go to school, and stay in school for at least 10 years. If they were more educated, they are less likely to commit crimes.

Even if one calls them Roma, they are obviously look different from Romanians. However some of them look white, and several can have blonde hair, and there been cases of blonde hair blue eyed children living with gypsy family and they were taken from the authorities due to it was believed the child was stolen but later DNA tests showed that the child was from gypsy parents.

The Spanish gypsies (not the Romanian gypsy immigrants) are well integrated in Spain. Spain is probably the most successful on integrating its gypsy population compared to other European countries.

In Ireland theyre known as Irish Travelers and are a different people than the Romany. Also some differences than the rest of the Iriish mainly because they only ever marry within their own community. Two reasons for this.:

1.They like to stick to their own culture
2.So hated are they by the settled population its considered even now a source of great shame to a settled family to have a traveler in their family.People will even deny they have traveler descendants to outsiders.

Its thought theyre the descendants of those who were thrown off the land by Cromwell by the mid 1600s and were added to by the famine in the 1840s.

Theres a lot in Britain as well. Theyre best avoided because many are very violent and all consider the settled population legitimate targets.

The English Romanys ive met havent been too bad but every Irish Traveler ive come across has been bad news

This thread is about a highly racist question (or rather statement) and should be deleted.
