The OPCW have been banned from examining sites in Syria before, and Syria has used chemical weapins before.
Syria had your chemical weapons facilities attacked and destroyed, and that is all that happened.
Break basic international law such as the Geneva Convention and that's what happens, and Syria has used chemicals numerous well documented times, as pointed out in Theresa Mays speech.

I never said that I was very concerned about escalation with Russia, only that I am more concerned about that than the moral questions raised by some over these airstrikes.

Syria has been doing this for years, and that's according to the UN and OPCW themselves, as for taking out the chemical warfare and research sites, I fully support it, as the effects of chlorine are awful and inhamane and it's use breaks international law which is why UN and OPCW Inspectors were there in the first place.

A senior official who has worked with United Nations and OPCW investigators said two helicopter squadrons dropped chlorine barrel bombs, drums filled with chlorine canisters, from two air bases. To produce such a quantity must have required technical staff and logistical support, suggesting the operation was overseen by senior commanders, the official said.

My deepest sympathies to the family of Russian investigative journalist Maxim Borodin who has tragically fell from his fifth-floor flat in the Russian city of Yekaterinburg
Borodin wrote extensively about Syria and about the deaths of mercenaries in Syria.
It's all a bit hypocritical really. If international law dictates that using chlorine is not allowed but using countless other horrible things that result in slow and painful deaths is absolutely fine then international law needs changing.
It is absolutely fine in your virtual reality. Like the chemical attack of Syrian army.
